Abstract

Experimental studies demonstrated that combined action of electrochemical lysis in a optimal regimen for intact tissue and photodynamic therapy resulted in more complete tumor destruction. Optimal parameters of electrochemical lysis used in experiments were horizontal position of electrodes, current rate of 30 mA, duration of exposure – 15 minutes. In experiments with electrochemical lysis completeness of tumor destruction achieved 75%. Combined use of electrochemical and photodynamic therapy resulted in 97% of tumor destruction.
