Abstract

The paper provides results of assessment of radionuclides’ possible concentration in sheep breeding products when produced at the territory of Degelen massif of the Semipalatinsk Test Site, where underground tests have been conducted in horizontal workings-tunnels. The assessment performed have been based on the data obtained during natural experiments with farm animals at radioactively contaminated spots of «Degelen» test site. The assessment have been performed on several possible scenarios of cattle pasturing and preparation of vegetative feed within the territory of «Degelen» massif. Recommendations have been given for pasturing of farm animals within the territory of the massif, allowing to obtain radioactively safe sheep breeding products.
