Abstract

In this issue of the Bulletin papers on effects of external gamma-radiation mainly to a human body at doses which many times exceeded permissible doses. Short- and long-term status of the haematopoietic, circulatory and nervous systems, organs of the respiratory and digestive systems, as well as cytogenetic effects, immune status and cancer diseases detected in delayed period (up to 45 years) following termination of work at the nuclear facility are discussed. The Editorial Board decided it reasonable to publish "original" versions of manuscripts, practically without changes in the text and terms.
