Abstract

Long-term studies of the consequences of the radiation impact of nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test site on the territory and population of the Altai Republic revealed facts of local contamination of the soil cover 137Cs. The problem of identification and identification of global and local fallouts is discussed in the reconstruction of the radiation situation, especially in mountainous terrain.

Key words
Consequences of the radiation impact, nuclear tests, Semipalatinsk test site, population, territory republic Altai, local fallouts, reconstruction of the radiation situation.
